Hello Ladies! My word its seriously such a nice day out, its +15 here. I can't wait for summer!! I got my hair extensions in the other day and LOVE them! The black and blonde is sharp!

So last week you may have remembered that I asked about sharing some of your favourite fashion guru's and why? Well I have previously posted a video once on the facebook account about one of my favourite groups and how the lead singer is one of my favourite people because of her style.

they grew and quickly became a sensation. They have since released 2 music videos Crash Your Party and Brokenhearted . Both of which show Amy's style very clearly as what you see is pretty much what I've come to see as what you get. Shes bold and beautiful and expresses it not only in her music and personality but also in her style.


This is what I encourage everyone to chase after...being yourself. Even today something I read from Amy was this “The best advice we can give, I mean this is really cliché, but first of all, being yourself, make sure that you put yourself out there…and be consistent.” .

I hope your weekend was superb! Today we have had some beautiful weather here and to top it off I got SO much product in today!! Double Band Chain Rings, Trinket/Gift Boxes, Double Band Antique Heart Rings.... and so much more! 

Ya know, the more I get going into MissKelly's and running this boutique the more involved I am getting into fashion and REALLY enjoying it, and if anyone knows me you'll know that's a bit of a stretch from my normal character! Not to say I've never enjoyed it but I've never been the one to buy fashion magazines, have an itch to go a fashion show or follow other fashion bloggers and see what kinda outfits they put together!  * flipping through a vogue magazine as I type*


Somethings...meh, I could care less for, other things I am like..."oh I like that!" or "ohh I could totally do this with that!" It also feeds a lot of ideas of different things I wanna bring into the boutique. ANYWAY, in saying all that my question for you today is: What is something you wanna see in the boutique? Is there something that you have been dying to get but can't afford, or are saving up for? Let me know about it!

I won't make this entry "to"| long but today what I wanted to talk about quickly is something that I see a lot of working in the business that I do...  and that is, as much as fashion 'sets' the trend, society impresses on us what is trendy and not etc etc, don't ever lose who you are. Always take the opportunity to voice your choice when it's been given to you, don't ever forget who you are as an individual!

Welcome to another blog entry. I hope the weather is better for you than for us here in Calgary! It's raining, kinda reminds me of Vancouver...oh how I miss the coast! But I have hope that the weather will turn around and my BFF Mr. Sun will come out and lavish his warmth. To prepare, I just purchased my set of 15" #60 Blonde Clip In Hair Extensions! --------> 
 Last summer I had dyed blonde peekaboo in my dark brown/black hair and the maintenance and upkeep for this was brutal! Not to mention costly!! So this year I decided to go bold and clip in! I get to have a beautiful White Blonde natural looking peekaboo in my hair where I don't need to worry about roots or damaged ends!

Isn't this beautiful?! I love the contrast and I personally am addicted to peekaboos. I also love that you can trim these clip ins for a razor type effect look in highlights which create such character. I myself wear my hair long and straight, so that's how I will keep my extensions....for now;)

Blogging! This is going to be exciting! Coming straight from me, Kelly of MissKelly's! I wanna bring you guys into my personal little world of fashion, trends and fun! I want this to be open to everyone to share their own views on everything I talk about here!

Here you will find my take and opinion on upcoming trends, and other things I wanna bring into MissKelly's Boutique. I plan on taking this (MissKelly's) to a very diverse level, supplying products for all age groups and all tastes/styles. I personally am a person of extremely diverse styles, I enjoy feather hair extensions, clip in animal print extensions, big bulky jewelry, bright colours, warm tones, costume jewelry, high heels and sweat pants! 

I hope that as this blog continues to grow that girls emerge showing trends they feel are inspiring and hot and their opinions on such. I hope to share things from my pinterest, website, facebook and twitter. Following each one of these social media outlets also entitles you to access to contests and giveaways exclusive to that outlet!


First of all, this is what comes to mind to talk about now; trends are not made, they are born. Someone out there started wearing Tangerine Tango ( a shade of bright orange) and this year a designer saw it and fell in love, thus emerging the new color for Spring 2012! Whats hot in fashion and accessories starts with you! Your own personal style. Don't get me wrong, there are some girls out there that wear the trends out there simply because they enjoy it, their style is that diverse or they just don't have time or feel the "means" (creatively) to come up with their own. None of these are wrong, because with each and every one of us we contribute to the fashion industry in some way, shape or form. Like myself, being a plus size girl I feel that I contribute more to the plus size industry by expressing my own style and merging it with bits and pieces that I love from other industries (plus size, average, skinny etc etc) but at the same time I don't believe being plus size keeps me from influencing the skinny models of America or any other branches because I take bits and pieces from each industry and am not afraid to display it.


So in saying all this...let me hear from you! I wanna see your pinterests, learn about your styles and I want you to share and branch out on your own as well! You guys form fashion, what you like/dislike and what you would wear and wouldn't be caught dead wearing! What are some things you wanna see at MissKelly's, what are some of the things you can't wait to get your hands on??
